Everything You Need For This Party + FREE PRINTABLE’S!

Every little girl wants to be a princess (well us big girls too!), so if you’re looking to go everything princess for this years birthday party, you’re on the right website! I had so much fun designing this princess themed birthday party that it really makes me wish my daughter was still little… she’s a teen now, but in truth, she’ll always be my little princess no matter how old she gets!

From great ideas to FREE PRINTABLE’S, you’ll hopefully find everything you need to make planning your princess themed birthday party as easy as 1,2,3! So, lets begin…

Princess Themed Birthday Party Ideas

The Invites

Although many people are texting invites these days, I still prefer the good old fashioned route of giving them out. Little one’s love that too, it always makes them feel special! Simply print The Supermoms Club Princess Themed Birthday Party Invites (PDF) on white cardboard or paper, cut them out and fill out the party details… princess invites sorted!

The Cupcakes

Themed cakes and cupcakes can be really expensive. If you’re looking to trim the budget, baking them yourself is a great option. The Supermoms Club Vanilla Cupcake Recipe is super easy and has a step by step guide to help you through (especially if you find baking a challenge). To glam them up princess style, print The Supermoms Club Princess Themed Birthday Party Cupcake Toppers (PDF). Once you’ve cut them out, simply glue them to a toothpick or lollipop sticks and pop them into the cupcakes. Voila – princess cupcakes sorted!

If you’d like to make a treats table (like the one I made for this party), you can print The Supermoms Club Party Treats Banner (PDF) and attach it to the table using some string or ribbon once you’ve cut it out. This banner is roughly 1m long.

Party Favours

A princess themed birthday party needs some royal treats! Gift bags filled with sweet goodies and labelled with The Supermoms Club Princess Themed Birthday Party Favour Tags (PDF) are a perfect way to thank your guests for attending the party. I used pink sweets in cellophane bags, and tied them closed with a soft pink ribbon.

Princesses also need to quench their thirst! The Supermoms Club Princess Themed Birthday Party Cooldrink Labels (PDF) are perfect for any plastic cooldrink or water bottle. Once you’ve printed them, cut them out and secure them to the bottles using glue or double sided tape.

Princess Themed Birthday Party Games & Activities

Here are a few fun activities and games for a princess themed birthday party that are sure to keep the kids entertained for hours…

Find the princess’s treasure chest:

Hide the treasure chest filled with sweet treats in a secret location in your garden and give the little one’s some clues as to it’s location… let the hunt begin!

Pin the crown on the princess:

Print 2 copies of a princess (with a crown) and cut out the crown from one of the copies. Put the picture on the wall and blindfold the kids before they attach the crown to the princess. The closest crown placing wins a small prize.

Collect the crowns:

Using a wand, attach a small magnet to it’s tip. Print The Supermoms Club Princess Themed Birthday Party Crowns (PDF) and attach a metal paper clip to each crown (once you’ve cut them out). Put the crowns in a bucket and have the children “fish” them out using the wand.

Get “Prince Eggward” back to the castle:

A classic take on a egg & spoon race. Draw a face on each egg, and have the children begin the egg & spoon race. The first child to get “Prince Eggward” back to the castle in one piece wins a small prize.

Pass the castle:

Make a castle out of tissue boxes, cereal boxes and toilet rolls (you could spray-paint it pink to make it look a little more attractive). Fill each box/roll with a sweet treat or two. Let the kids sit in a circle and play some royal tunes. As the castle is passed around, pause the music and the child holding the castle can remove a box/roll. Continue the game until the castle is dismantled.

Have a wonderful princess themed birthday party!
