These cute little Christmas puppets are so much fun to make for the kids. If you’ve got some toilet rolls and felt stored in your craft box, why not haul them out and get crafting with this fun festive idea. How To Use The Cute Christmas Puppet Patterns
Prep Time: 1 hour
What You’ll Need:
4 toilet rolls
white, black, deep yellow, light green, dark green, dark brown, beige, red and cream felt
strip of felt, material or ribbon of your choice (for the snowman scarf)
small diamante (to decorate the Christmas tree)
4 googly eyes
2 red pom-poms (one small for Santa & one big for Rudolf)
beige pipe cleaners
small bell (for Rudolf)
thread
cotton wool
small white pom-pom (for Santa’s hat)
scissors
glue gun & glue sticks

Method For The Snowman Puppet:
Print The Supermoms Club Cute Christmas Puppet Patterns FREE Printable (PDF) and cut out the white, black and yellow felt according to the pattern instructions on page 1. Cut the snowman’s scarf from felt, material or ribbon as indicated on the pattern.
Cover a toilet roll with white felt using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Attach the pattern cut-out’s to the white covered toilet roll according to the pattern. Now your snowman puppet is made!
Method For The Christmas Tree Puppet:
Print The Supermoms Club Cute Christmas Puppet Patterns FREE Printable (PDF) and cut out the dark green and light green felt according to the pattern instructions on page 2.
Cut a toilet roll so that it measures 8cm in height. Cover it with dark green felt using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Glue the pattern cut-out’s together to form the Christmas tree according to the pattern. Start with the biggest tree cut-out and glue the pieces from the bottom up making sure to fit them exactly as indicated on the pattern.
Glue the Christmas tree to the green covered toilet roll. Decorate it by gluing on some small diamante. Now your Christmas tree puppet is made.
Method For The Rudolf Puppet:
Print The Supermoms Club Cute Christmas Puppet Patterns FREE Printable (PDF) and cut out the dark brown and beige felt according to the pattern instructions on page 3.
Cut a toilet roll so that it measures 7cm in height. Cover it with dark brown felt using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Attach the pattern cut-out’s to the brown covered toilet roll according to the pattern.
Make 2 reindeer horns from the pipe cleaners by folding them into shape. Attach them to the toilet roll using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Glue on the googly eyes and big pop-pom for Rudolf’s nose according to the pattern.
Now all Rudolf needs is his bell. Thread a bell through some thread and tie it around the toilet roll. Ta-da… Rudolf is complete!
Method For The Santa Puppet:
Print The Supermoms Club Cute Christmas Puppet Patterns FREE Printable (PDF) and cut out Santa’s belt from the black and deep yellow felt according to the pattern instructions on page 3.
Cut a 4,5cm strip of cream felt and glue it around one end of a toilet roll using a glue gun and glue sticks. This will form Santa’s face (in case you were wondering).
Cut a 5,5cm strip of red felt and glue it around the other end of the toilet roll using a glue gun and glue sticks. This will form Santa’s body.
Cut a large triangle of red felt and fold it around the top end of the toilet roll (cream felt end) forming Santa’s hat. Glue the small white pom-pom to it’s end. Cut a 6mm strip of white felt and glue it around the base of the hat.
Glue on the googly eyes and small pop-pom for Santa’s nose.
Using some cotton wool, fashion a beard for Santa. Glue it on using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Ans last but not least, glue on Santa’s belt from the pattern cut-out’s. A cute little Santa puppet is born!
